Biominin Laboratory, Training for Women on Entrepreneurship, Organic Farming and Biofertilizers

 

The trust has initiated the establishment of “STET Biofloral Product Development and Research Centre” as a first instant to cope up with the demand of Micronutrients, Biofertilizers and Biocontrol agents for various crops, as a long felt eco friendly crop production inputs in agriculture for benefiting large number of farmers of Tamil nadu state especially, towards accomplishing both the twin holy concepts of agriculture and environmental sustainability.

 

S.T.E.T Biofloral products development and Research Centre, which has been established for agricultural research, has led to the starting of Biominin Laboratories to produce Biofertilizers (Rhizobium, Azospirillum) and micronutrients for the improvement of soil fertility and quality of the agricultural products and for the environmental conservation. The products are of high quality and they are sold at subsidized rates. Farmers report that these biofertilizers greatly increase their crop yields. This laboratory is totally managed by the Alumni and students of STET women’s college

 

Biominin Laboratories has so far conducted Women entrepreneurship training programme for 100 women candidates on organic farming and Biofertilizers.
